Highland Ladies Night League Rules
2019-2020 Monday & Wednesday
- Please begin prompt at 7:00 pm on Monday and 6:45 P.M> on Wednesday and promote quick play
- Regular season play – games are left as ties
- Playoffs – tied games are to curl extra ends
- If a game needs to be cancelled, please contact the Highland Office (via email preferably at highlandcurlingclub@accesscomm.ca or call (306) 5438600 and the opposing skip. The team who has to cancel the game will forfeit to their opponents and the game will not be rescheduled. If the team that cancelled is representing the Club in a Saskatchewan Curling Association sanctioned event the points will be split.
- One original member of the team, and 2 or 3 spares are acceptable to field a team.
- Spares (must be female) and shall play the position of the person they are replacing or lower.
- Draws are posted on www.highlandcurlingclub.com
- Winning team to mark the game results on the board – W and L (or Ties)
- The team that loses the coin toss will choose the rock colour that they will throw for that game.
- Beginning in the 2019-2020 season, the league will be adopting the 5 rock rule.
- Double Takeout Definition - A stone that removes two of the opponents stones from play (www.worldcurling.org)
- Drawmaster (Jill Schmeltzer) will determine number of games to be curled in declaring the Monday and Wednesday Grand Aggregate winners once the final schedule is determined. Decision shall be final.
Monday Night Aggregate
The number of games for the 2019- 2020 season shall be 16.
Wednesday Night Aggregate
The number of games for the 2019- 2020 season shall be 16.
